I am a New York City based multimedia journalist and explorer. My work has appeared in publications such as The Atlantic, National Geographic, and Fast Company. I've traveled the world in search of stories over the past ten years - most recently to Afghanistan to report on female entrepreneurs and up next, to Peru to capture footage of a rare Andean mountain cat. This month, I journeyed through the past to discover my grandparent’s adventures in aviation for Rhapsody Magazines’s Plane Spoken essay.

I am passionate about building better systems of power. I focus on social enterprise as a key for prosperity in global communities. Read my interview on telling the truth and why it's important to tell stories about "hope in the dark."
